So I just found out through Kaja Foglio's Livejournal that Robert Aspirin unexpectedly passed away, on the 22nd.
He's always been one of my favorite authors, especially for the Myth Adventures of Aahz and Skeeve et al. They are an amazing amount of fun. From all accounts, the man himself was a wonderful guy as well. I'm not really sure what to say, other than he's going to be sorely missed by many, many people.

Aww. :( I didn't see anything in the news about it, but I remember the MYTH books being a good time. Too sad.
Damn, no more Aahz and Skeeve. I was kind of hoping he would get back into the Theives' World, too. Pity.
