Man, it's nice to be reminded how badass Hicks is. I watched that movie so many times as a teenager- rawr. With that sort of example, and all those other intelligent alpha males in my fiction preferences, it's no wonder I never bothered to date in high school. When your reading list includes Elric of Melnibone and Philip Marlowe, a bunch of whingy pimply attempting-to-become alcoholic-at-every-opportunity 16 year old boys just can't hold your interest.
