The Owlvark's Mum, not doing too badly considering she'd never fired anything in her life before. I gave her a quick rundown and she did pretty good, considering.
TV or computer monitor screen, behind glass, with the standard Brit military marksmanship test, with fixed sights and no scope. Single target at 100, 200, and 400 yards, 5 shots, then five half-sized targets at a distance I don't remember, 7 shots, and finally five man-sized targets at another, longer distance that I don't remember, 7 shots. All rounds are timed, and although you're not in a mad rush you can't dawdle, either. The only thing that flummoxed me was the 200 yards; for reasons I don't understand and can't explain, I did equally well at both 100 and 400, but had a hell of a time keeping a decent pattern at 200. Go figure.
lol, have to account for drift:D i had a similar prob. sighting in my 280. 25yards spot on, 100 not bad, 50... couldn't hit a tractor-trailer outta gas.
