I don't understand why people think rats are awful

They're smart, funny, and entertaining, and I defy anyone not to call the above picture adorable. She's not an exception, but rather a good example of how cute pet rats actually are. And I feel compelled to point out that our Badger could have given even this little girl a run for her money in the cute department.
