Fenty on the walls of York, in what is referred to as the "Postcard Shot." Apparently everyone who comes to York takes this photo.

York is neat; it's got lots to see and do, most within walking distance (traffic everywhere in England is horrible- between any two given places is only one road and damn do they get crowded...) and almost everything in it is older than I have a frame of reference for. For instance, the church in the background of the photo is called the York Minster, and the site has had a church of some sort or other since the year 627 CE. A large Norman church was finished in stone in 1100, and by 1472 it was pretty much worked into what you see in the photo.

I'm not clear on how much is still original; I think there's a mix of styles, but I'm not entirely sure about it. Have a look at the Wikipedi Page; it might make things a bit clearer.
