nice, but not nice enough, the picture is too dark and the lighting is all wrong.

i just realized that the lighting is actually pointed at the wall. at the wall. is this another british thing or have i been left out of the loop for the last 16 years?

I think the light may be pointed at the wall so they aren't backlit for the picture. If that bright light was facing out, it would be really bright behind them and you couldn't see their faces.

What Suz said. The overhead in here isn't bright enough for a good picture, pointing it at the camera makes for a poor photo, and flash made it worse. So, lowish lighting, but decent enough to get by.

again i tell you "I kid, i kid" it was meant to be funny, i'm trying to be the comic relief, not the cynic antagonist :D

That's nice of you and all, but what I said in the other thread still stands- saying things that will potentially upset people and assuming that "I'm kidding" makes everything okay is not a valid method for going through life if one wants to support one's friends. It's selfish, because when the other person reacts badly the defense is, "Well, I told you I was kidding, why can't you lighten up?" which is an attempt to put the burden of guilt on the person being "joked" (often this can be replaced with "harassed") and absolve the person whose fault it actually is of guilt. But that's not how it works. Saying something to hurt someone's feelings and putting the blame on them for not "getting it" is childish. As Ray would say, "have some dignity."

No one ever said being a good person was easy. But it's a good ambition (and most days I say it's the best ambition...) If you're going to try, I'm happy to help. But you'll have to expect a lot of stuff like this.
