Of course, she has her own opinions.  I noticed on the activity calendar that one of the other horses had just been hand walked and longed this week, so I asked the barn owner how he was doing.  She said, “He’s coming back into work this week after your mare kicked him and gave him six stitches.”

Oops. Well, I guess he must have suggested something improper that she took offense to. 

It's the first perfect Fall day; it's cool with rain and low clouds and wind and it's the perfect day for being inside, drinking hot tea and listening to Hawksley Workman. It was a very hot summer, and we're looking forwards to a nice cool Fall.
