Pics will be up tomorrow sometime; the Owlvark has been home with a bad cold all week so I've mostly been playing Scrabble and watching Futurama.

I keep looking for stills of Hawksley standing on the piano playing the guitar from 'We Will Still Need A Song, " but so far my search has been unrewarded. It's not even for simple cheesecake; I just really like the image, enough so that I'd probably do a print, frame it, and put it on the wall.

Fossil Hunting in Saltwick Bay

It's not the easiest place to get to, but it's unbelievably worth it. I came home with my coat pockets stuffed with fragments of ammonites and belemnites. You could spend six or seven lifetimes just sorting through the mass of broken shale on the beach, and the gods only know what amazing fossils are waiting just out past the tideline. What an awesome trip.

So currently I'm doing a little research on Souling Horses- which I have taken as a sort of catch-all name, as there's doesn't appear to be a group name to which they all belong or have been cataloged under.

There's the Mari Lywd, the Gray Mare of Wales, who is brought out around Christmas time, the Hooden Horses of Kent, and the Antrobus Wild Horse.

It starts getting dark here at 3:30 in the afternoon. I have to turn the lights on at four. I'm going to have to dig up a workbench lamp and a reptile basking bulb soon, or I have a feeling that my seasonal affective is going to be legendary this year.
