Two-Sentence Movie Reviews
Gravedancers
A really quite likeable little horror film; sure, it's not perfect by any means, and there's some unintentional burst-out-laughing moments, especially at the end- mostly caused by having to cope with the shrinking of an already tight budget, we assume- but for the most part it tries very hard to be something more/different than the normal modern horror flick. They've obviously seen Evil Dead and took notes, which is certainly a point in their favor, and although the acting is a bit uneven, the script has some decent lines, the plot is at least original and interesting, and, aside from the aforementioned occasional silly bits and goofy final sequence (boss battle!) it's certainly worth a watch.

So it's that time of year again, when the Keeneland Yearling Auctions are televised. It's a very posh Thoroughbred auction, really only of interest if you're into horses, but it's pretty fascinating if you are. You can watch the sales live when they're on; something like 8pm - 11 pm EST.

Two-Sentence Movie Reviews
Ghost Town
So, let's break this down for you, mister director, and I'll go slow so you can keep up- ankhs are from ancient Egypt and mean eternal life, "runes" are Norse (we're assuming that's what you mean, since we never see any) Wicca was invented in the 1960's, there is a reason explosions are measured via sticks of dynamite, pentacles have circles around them, and hitting things with rocks isn't a part of the protective spells of any religion, so far as we are aware. Also, your film is balls.

#The Owlvark comes out of the bathroom after a shave#
Duamuteffe: #sniffing# Mmm, what are you wearing? Satyr?
Owlvark: No, stately pleasuredome.
Duamuteffe: Oh, I get it, Kubla Khan. Or did you get a special version?
Owlvark: Yes. I decreed it.
#In the Thrift Store, looking at a shirt...#
Duamuteffe: I don't know, it's neat, but it looks all Nintendo-y. I'd look like I was part 8-bit.
Owlvark: Yes, well, aren't you?
Duamuteffe: True. #laughs#
